Cranberry-Highlights at the ISM Cologne
Diced Crunchy Cranberrys and Cranberry Seeds in the spotlight
The international sector meets at the ISM Cologne trade fair from February 2 to 5 in search of the top innovations in the confectionery and snack industry. Of course, we at Bösch Boden Spies will make sure we don’t miss this important specialist trade fair in Cologne.
Together with our partner Ocean Spray, we will exhibit our fruity, multitalented Diced Crunchy CranberrysTM and Cranberry Seeds on Stand N030 in Hall 5.2. These involve baked, chopped cranberry pieces and crunchy cranberry seeds. Interested visitors to the ISM trade fair can discover the many versatile uses of these ingredients for snacks and chocolaty recipes.
Both of these Ocean Spray products will also be able to give proof of their great potential at the New Product Showcase in Hall 2.2. This special exhibition is considered to be the centerpiece of the ISM trade fair, and enables an even more intense exchange between all the trade fair participants. Afterwards, the three most innovative products from the ISM 2020 trade fair will be chosen by an independent jury here.
Double cranberry power for a special bite
Product developers can be happy because we offer two small but all the more refined extras from Ocean Spray: Diced Crunchy CranberrysTM and Cranberry Seeds, for exceptional texture and visual appearance, optimum flavor and nutritional-physiological functionality. Both innovations are used to their fullest advantage in various snack or chocolate products and many other concepts, e.g. cereals, baked products or salads.
There’s nothing crunchier: Diced Crunchy CranberrysTM provide astonishing crunchy effects in the mouth. These red pieces are only 1 – 8 mm in size, so they adapt to individual production requirements. On top of that, the cranberry crunch satisfies many consumers’ wish for recipes “with bite”. Moreover, in their manufacture, Ocean Spray uses baked Crunchy CranberrysTM, which are simply chopped into small pieces.
Concentrated strength from inside the cranberry: Cranberry Seeds are only about the same size as chia seeds, but they pack a real punch. They are obtained from the fruit pulp of ripe cranberries, and are afterwards dried. The red seeds are absolutely trendy, as they impart an exciting texture and pleasantly fruity flavor to numerous products. Since they also contribute dietary fiber, omega-3-fatty acids and plant protein and are utilizable as a byproduct of cranberry production, Cranberry Seeds also represent the big trends of health and sustainability.
