Back to Nature – The Fruit Juice Revolution

The fruit sector has rarely witnessed such dynamic change. The industry is in transition. Two keywords in its global development are “naturalness” and “innovation.” Bösch Boden Spies products perfectly meet the taste of the times.

“We are seeing rapid growth in consumers’ desire for more naturalness and for new taste adventures,” says Kay Schumacher, Head of Product Application and Development at Bösch Boden Spies. Europe is currently regarded as the world’s most innovative fruit juice market. In Germany, ingredients and ideas from Bösch Boden Spies are often involved in the launches of new products and innovations. At our Innovation Technology Center in Hamburg, Kay Schumacher and his colleagues create promising products and work with the development specialists to analyze markets, scout trends and identify potential around the world.

News & Nature

Consumers are expressing – much more so than before – a desire for healthy, authentic, natural and sustainably grown products, and for information about a given product. They want stories and pictures that tell of exotic fruits, foreign places, and the lives of fruit farmers. This presents new challenges for manufacturers. And yet, creative manufacturers will find that the current “back to nature” trend in fruit juices also opens up enormous opportunities and huge market potential.
