The 2024 apple harvest in Europe is expected to be around 13 % below the three-year average. Based on WAPA statistics and discussions with our suppliers, the harvest in Poland is around 25 % below the three-year average.
Due to damage in the apple orchards from April, such as premature blossoming, poor pollination and frost, a poor harvest is expected. However, our suppliers have not reported any quality problems.
We are pleased to inform you that the production of dried apples in 2024 will start earlier than usual, at the beginning of September.
This early start ensures that you have access to dried apples at their maximum freshness.
As the fresh apples from the new harvest will be of the best quality, we recommend that you place your inquiries and orders early.
As a fiber-rich and natural product, dried apple continues to be on trend. From 2020-2023, there were +49% product launches with dried apple.
We are pleased to invite you to visit our facilities in September to experience the start of production of our new harvest. This is a great opportunity to see first-hand how we get the best apples from the orchard to the market.
We would be delighted to welcome you and discuss with you how we can meet your requirements for the coming season.
