We are setting the course for the future - New Management Board as of October 1, 2022

To this end, we are extending our management and, as of October 1, 2022, will lead the company through a newly created General Management Board. In addition to the managing partner Dirk Schmidt as CEO, this board consists of Peter Sielmann as the second managing director and CFO, Miriam Gautier as the new Managing Director Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management & Innovation, and Patrick Burmester as Managing Director Digitalisation, Logistics & Controlling. At the same time, Dr Philipp Stradtmann will resign his Co-CEO responsibilities to concentrate on the expansion of his investment company.

We sincerely thank Dr. Philipp Stradtmann for his extraordinary commitment. Together with the shareholders and the employees of Bösch Boden Spies, he has decisively advanced the transformation of Bösch Boden Spies from a traditional B2B supplier company to a full-service provider, strategically expanded our service portfolio for the European food industry and trade with ready-to-sell complete solutions and thus sustainably strengthened our innovative strength and market relevance. At the same time, he has created the conditions for sustainable growth through the targeted development of our management talent, the realignment of our market organisation, the consistent establishment of sustainability standards and the digitalisation of our processes and services.

Dr. Philipp Stradtmann will continue to support us as an advisor for strategic growth projects after his resignment. We are pleased about the continuation of our successful cooperation within the framework of our joint entrepreneurial commitment.

After the scheduled retirement of Michael Rund as a shareholder on 31 December 2021, Patrick Bösch as the fourth generation of the founding family and Dirk Schmidt have been equal shareholders of Bösch Boden Spies and its subsidiaries and holdings since this year. Michael Rund continues to support the company as an advisory board member together with our advisory board chairman Nils Erichsen.
