The macadamia industry is currently facing particular challenges: lower harvest volumes in the largest growing regions and new US tariffs are changing global trade flows. With the import duty on South African macadamias now at 30 %, the sales channels will be reorganized - opening up both challenges and opportunities for the future.
As a proud partner of Global Macadamia we share insights from the latest quarterly report, which sheds light on market developments and provides an outlook for the coming months.

In addition to the market activities, a special event also took place in September: On September 4, Global Macadamias hosted its first Charity Golf Day. Together with partners, colleagues and friends, donations were collected for the CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation collected. The timing was particularly important, as the event coincided with the International Macadamia Day and the Childhood Cancer Awareness Month together.
The funds raised will be used to build the first home in Mpumalanga for children with cancer and their families - a project with a lasting impact for the entire region.
We are proud to partner with Global Macadamias to support initiatives that go beyond business and strengthen our community.
