Prunes in various forms such as powder, bits, dices, puree or concentrate offer a unique combination of nutrients including sorbitol, fiber, vitamin A, copper and potassium. Thanks to their natural antioxidants, they can make food last longer. In baked goods, prunes bind moisture and prolong freshness, enhance the flavor of cocoa products and can replace dietary fats. A third of global prune production now comes from California. Our partner Sunsweet is also based there. The cooperative of over 300 farmers is now the world's most popular prune brand.
