Diamond Foods, based in Stockton, California, is deeply rooted in the local walnut-farming tradition. For generations, farmers have cultivated their plantations in the Golden State’s “Fruit Belt.”

Founded by farming families in 1912, the company now produces a select assortment of nuts and nut ingredients – and has won over customers around the world with top-notch quality. To ensure that this continues to be the case, Diamond Foods continuously invests in technologies such as cold-storage systems, leading-edge laser sorting, and in-house laboratories.

In 2019, the company merged with National Pecan, one of the largest producers of pecans with over 4000 hectares of own land and more than 100 years of experience. Under the Diamond Foods umbrella brand, the two companies are now bundling the greatest expertise, passion and experience.
