CHOCO TEC 2018

Our inspiraion for you at the chocolate congress.

We’re looking forward to Choco Tec 2018. From December 3 to 5, the international chocolate industry will meet at KölnMesse in Cologne to discuss trends, ingredients, and developments. Bösch Boden Spies will also be there with a stand and a specialist lecture.

What’s new in chocolate? Choco Tec 2018 will reveal it all. At the beginning of December, at the invitation of the Central College of the German Confectionery Industry (ZDS) experts from a wide variety of sectors of the international chocolate industry will meet at the KölnMesse Congress Centre North. For three days they will discuss everything that concerns the manufacturers of what is probably Europe’s most popular confectionery.

Bösch Boden Spies: Stand No. 17

Crunchy Cranberries™ from Ocean Spray will be the focus of our stand. Beyond this, our ingredient experts will also present product applications using almonds and plums to the trade public. These ingredients have one thing in common: they can give chocolate products an appealing, exciting texture. Which is exactly what consumers are increasingly asking for.

The sensory perception of confectionery will also be the focus of Kay Schumacher’s presentation: “Texture in focus: Dried fruits, nuts, and seeds for intensified taste experiences and attractive product appearance” (04 Dec, 09:10).

Among other things, our Head of Product Application and Development will explain the effects of fruit and nut ingredients on chocolate products. Using various product concepts from Bösch Boden Spies, he will show how manufacturers can freshen up their confectionery products and turn them into hot new taste experiences by taking current trends into account.
