Power, packaged to perfection.
Bananas, an absolute favorite with consumers, are Germany’s most frequently eaten fruit after apples. The average German household consumes 15.6 kg (34.4 lbs.) of bananas a year.
The tropical and subtropical latitudes between 30° north and 30° south offer the plants ideal growth conditions, as they require a constant change of sun and rain.
Bananas are considered to be one of the best sources of energy. They contain three natural sugars: sucrose, glucose, and fructose. These are each released in the body at different times, which keeps the blood glucose level stable for a long time.
Eating a medium-sized banana supplies 13% of the recommended daily requirement of potassium, 20% of the daily requirement of vitamin B6, and 12% of the recommended amount of dietary fiber. The fruit also contains minerals and trace elements such as phosphorus, iron, and zinc.
Our partner Terrafertil offers dried bananas in addition to Goldenberries, its main product.
